Our Team
When you think SIMS, think fast-paced and dynamic. With a focus on high
quality and best practice, our team has a bias for action and is delivery
oriented. This ‘can do’ attitude is shaping the face of health
care information management and technology in Canada.
People at SIMS come from a wide variety of diverse academic backgrounds, such as business, engineering, computer science, education, medicine, nursing and information technology. Staff members are involved with a wide variety of projects that involve project management, system design and development, technical architecture, research, education and training expertise.
We are Canada’s largest health care IM/IT team. Some of our departments include:
- Information Technology, Database, Engineering, Application & Switchboard Services (IDEAS)
- Management Decision Support (MDS)
- Medical Engineering
- Patient Care Management Systems (PCMS)
- Project Management Office (PMO)
